Due to the colonizations and assimilation of the Native Americans, when they first can in contact with Europeans, mush of their culture and society hadn’t survived to today. Those cultures that have survived today have been able to be preserved by their dependents through the plays and stories they write now. Their religious values and rituals are deeply ingrained into the very fabric of their modem and ancient performances. Many Native American plays illustrate time as a “big ball of wibble wobbly time wimey stuff” (David Tennant as the tenth doctor) and often involves other worldly realms like the spirit world.
